Play-School: July Play

So, I have been sooooo focused on building a play-school curriculum and designing materials that I some how allowed my blog to slip through the cracks. I absolutely love creating materials and have enjoyed this journey of creating a bilingual play-school curriculum that I pray will go far beyond my own home. During this pandemic I have learned so much about being resourceful due to having our stuff already shipped to Colombia and having gotten rid of so much stuff in preparation to moving to another country. A few months ago I started creating an in-depth plan of what play-school looks like in our home. Putting together a weekly calendar and designing my own materials to go along with our play-school themes of the month and weekly sub themes. I wanted to share with you what this looks like and the breakdown of it. For now the play-plan is only three days a week because I just know myself and our family and we are very spontaneous people and try to be out and about as much as possible, especially in the summer. Our play learning is spontaneous and just naturally part of our day.

This is our monthly theme for the month of July. Each week I will post the play calendar and the break down of all that the play includes. For now I would like to highlight this past week and I will end with the play plan calendar and details for the week ahead. Here was our calendar for this past week.

I have another document that breaks each of these activities down into detail, if you are interested please shoot me a message or leave a comment and I would love to send that to you. Also, if you would like the materials I made in our weekly play plan please let me know. Some of them I believe are on my TpT store, but I haven’t posted a lot of my newest materials because I will be selling them. Let me know of your interest! We had a blast this week of play learning. Here is a little glimpse of our weekly calendar put into practice.
