How is Sunday Church at home going with your children? Are you able to make it all the way through an entire church hour with your little ones without a bazillion interruptions? For those with toddler aged kiddos, I don’t think I appreciated nursery and nursery workers more then I have these last few months. Both girls have their alone playtime in their bedroom everyday for an hour during the week while I get ready for the day and have my Bible time. Seriously, AMAZING! On Sunday, NEVER the case, they don’t even last thirty minutes. What has been your routine to create the children’s worship and church experience geared toward their age? We have a little routine down, which has been amazing for them. Our Texas home church has a Bible program for three different age group children on VIMEO which has been AMAZING! Both girls LOVE it, we actually use it throughout the week too. It has the BEST kids worship songs, dancing, story, and parent cue guide. Our Texas church is called, Christ Fellowship and their children’s ministry is called Promise Land, here is the Kid’s ministry Facebook page if you would like to implement a really fun and interactive worship and church experience for your children.

We do our own little Bible reading on their Bible blanket, the kids church link, and then we follow it up with a craft. By that time our adult church hour comes on and we put the girls on their iPads to watch Super Bible or Superlibro in Spanish. That has been functioning for us, for the last few weeks at least. I would love to know what you do and what has been working for you. It took us a few weeks to really get down a routine on Sundays. It is weird, we miss community, we miss worshiping corporately, but we must be making Sunday an intentional day that is still distinct and different then the rest of the week. For those with littles, it means being super intentional!
