I am so excited to begin this fun journey of sharing our life with the world, well maybe the few who tune in… We are missionaries to Colombia and are currently raising support and traveling to present our ministry throughout the US. I am an educator and have loved my nine years of experience teaching both state side and in Colombia. My oldest daughter turned two almost two months ago and now there is this new and exciting adventure in our home where education and play MUST be intentionally combined. I am NOT a fan of pre-school for the toddler age, but I am ALL about PLAY-school for the toddler age. This blog will be all about our “Play-School” days and all the exciting things we learn through intentionally guided and planned play. In my play-school, I have various developmental areas targeted and include lots of FUN THEMES, all about the THEMES people! Interdisciplinary plans are my utmost favorites and I hope you can use the resources I collect, combine, and create for your own teaching purposes. Between my husband and his family ONLY speaking to the girls in Spanish and all our Colombian years of ministry, my babies MUST be bilingual. This is why Mama’s Bilingual Play-School even exists. Half of my resources I find on the web and those that I will make are going to be in Spanish. I sure hope you can enjoy them and use them in your own homes and classrooms.
